I am an assistant professor of economics at the College of the Holy Cross.  I completed my PhD in economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  My research is in the field of labor economics and includes topics in health, gender, and household decision-making in the U.S. and developing countries. Prior to my doctoral studies at UCSB, I obtained a BA in economics from the University of Chicago and an MPA/International Development at the Harvard Kennedy School, worked as an economic consultant contributing to expert arguments on antitrust cases, and assisted a non-governmental organization in South Africa for two years as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer.
