What is MEF?

The modern existential framework "MEF" is a paradigm construct designed to explicate the metaphysical phenomena of human consciousness and of our being in the world. Both theoretical and empirical scientific knowledge have been assembled into logical concepts and categorical constructs to formulate a notion of cognitive architecture in the context of a computational theory of mind. Through focus on functional architecture and combinatory logic, MEF facilitates a fully evolved conceptual analysis of human existence premised on a whole-of-knowledge thesis encapsulated in a model thesis and which together infer a "Unified Theory of Humanity" (metaphysical thesis).

MEF essentially demonstrates a sound theoretical basis for universal bioethics and thereby applied ethics with respect to the study of world, social and political issues arising from life sciences and emergent biotechnology which either directly or indirectly ultimately impacts human well being. In this way MEF enables some level of tangibility and greater certainty of the extent to which predictability and determinism apply in the physical world.

Why MEF?

MEF attends to the challenges of contemporary existential discourse. Whereas the existential theory is predominantly person-centered, it has at the same time back-lashed against mainstream philosophical and scientific systems that conceive of all individuals as members of a genus or instances of universal laws, which is contrary to the local-global contingency tenets and the theoretical basis of MEF. The radical existential doctrines of individual freedom and of responsibility and the emphasis on "authenticity" are significant imperatives to the individual subject, yet by the same token, a new synthesis such as MEF is conceptually appropriate in order to reconcile the local phenomena in terms of a larger evolutionary global phenomena.

What are the 3 Spheres of Consciousness?

Consciousness is comprised of knowledge in general, intentionality, introspection and phenomenal experience. The MEF delineates three evolutionarily correlated spheres of "consciousness" which are instructive to contemplation of the metaphysical universals.

Specifically, the three spheres of consciousness are: fundamental-germinal consciousness proscribing for an emergent population of artificial life; socio-biogenic consciousness referring to all organic species; and individual-experiential consciousness concerned with the subjective world particular to each individual. These spheres of consciousness conform to a gestational timeline and similarly each sphere of consciousness may be demonstrated to be contemporaneously coalescing at an "existential realignment" precursor to a stage of meta-consciousness as a result of the rapid rate of bio-technological developments.

What is Existemetrics?

Existemetrics aligns with the theoretical basis of MEF, and is the super-science of the Normal Species Set which itself is subsumed in the Normal Ecology Set. The veritable whole-of-life ambit of Existemetrics most appropriately renders it a super-science. Existemetrics is premised on tetralogy and standard set theory which fundamentally are patterns of functions occurring between category sets. These category sets are not determinate; they only have functional relations to one another.

What is the Normal Species Set?

The Normal Species Set is a mathematical set-theoretical model that explains the proliferation of human life through evolutionary time as normally distributed expressions of the genic reservoir. The Normal Species Set is a four dimensional model that illuminates a bi-pedal mechanism innate to the species and which is adaptive to further and continuing advancement of the species.

What is the Normal Ecology Set?

The Normal Ecology Set is a set-theoretical model that explains the proliferation of all organic life through evolutionary time as a statistically dispersed mathematical model for abiotic regularity and biogenic coexistential evolution with the larger biome of the planetary biosphere. The normal ecology set is a four dimensional model that illustrates a bi-pedal mechanism of maintenance and diversity inherent to the global ecology.

What is Surface Existemetrics?

Surface Existemetrics is the applied science of the super-science of Existemetrics. Hence Surface Existemetrics is concerned with the individual as the local phenomena of the global impetus and it is essentially a aggregate pyscho-metric profiling methodology applicable to the adult population set. Moreover Surface Existemetrics is about social morality, namely, personal morality and public morality. The personal morality implication for individuals distils to a question of "what should I do?" and the public morality imperative asks "what is the good society?". A triangulation technique of asymmetrical dispositional scales superimposed on a theoretical perfect gradient matrix is a generic methodology applied to measure individual adjustment across the basic pscyho-metric markers. Surface Existemetrics are triarchic profiling tools for assessment of the individual 'Existentiality', namely, E1: Psycho-Social Milestone; E2: Socio-Political Orientation; and E3: Executive Profile.
