Merve Nezihe Özer

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at The Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), Maastricht University.

My research interests are in labor and population economics. My current research focuses on

  • the association of individuals' migration decisions with their personality traits and risk attitudes,
  • cultural roots of international students' job attribute preferences,
  • socioeconomic integration of second-generation immigrants.
