May people ask us at events "how did you ever get started doing this", or "how can I get involved".

Becoming a member of company is a very easy process. There are no lengthy forms or anything to fill out, simply attend on of our monthly meetings, or ask us when you see us at an event and we'd be more than happy to help you get started.

Who can join your group? Anyone! There are no age requirements or any restrictions for that matter on who can join. Our members range from 1 month to 85+! The only "real" requirement is that you come and enjoy yourself while portraying the actions of our forefathers.

Are costs involved? Yes, unfortunately this is a hobby for us, and most of what you see us wearing and using, simply can't be purchased at Walmart these days. Therefore, our company can help you get started. We do have uniform pieces that have been collected over the years. Many children, many outgrown pieces! Or if you are versed in the ways of the tailor, you can make your own uniform based off of various patters. Many of which our company has, or you may purchase it from a handful of Sutlers that specialize in making period clothing. Equipment wise, for instance muskets, fifes and drums, can also be purchased from various Sutlers throughout the US.

Our company also asks its members to pay a yearly fee. This fee goes to support many of the publications that we create during the year, such as our monthly newsletter. The fees are $10/year for an individual, $20/year for a family.
