Day Rates

Being a third generation member of the entertainment and broadcasting industry, Melvin has been involved with film, television, radio, as well as his first love, theater.   While this is not his main profession, he is often in demand.  For those looking to  hire him, this is a  rough estimate of his minimum  fees and expectations for non-staff positions for professional productions.   Please also note he is an member of Actor's Equity.

Rates 

Title Day Rate (minimum), 1.5x after 10, 2x over 14

Production Team

Production Assistant $250-450 / 10 hour day

Stage Manager (Theater) Please Discuss (AEA Member)

Stage Manager (Event - Deck) $600-850 / 10 hour day 

Stage Manager (Event - ShowCaller) $1000 / 10 hour day 

Medic

Event Medic $30 / hour, does include kit

Set Medic - BLS $50 / hour (up to 10 hours, 1.5x past 10 hours), does not include kit

BLS Kit Rental - $50 / day or $200 / week

Other

Per Diem $70 (unless otherwise negotiated)

Mileage/Travel Fees 0.67 per mile or daily rate outside of 50 miles. If multiple days, hotel must be included

Urgent Request (within 24 hours) $100 additional per day (negotiable) 

Cancellation Fee 4 weeks (50%), 2 weeks (0%)
