Namibian Rock Art

In 1971 my family went on holiday to relatives who lived in on a farm in Geelperdhoek, in the Southern part of Namibia, about 80 miles South of a little village called Aus, in the Luderitz district. The farm still belongs to the "de Bruin" family. My uncle took us to a very remote spot on that farm to show us these pictures carved in the rock. The rock was very hard and burnt black by the sun. I tried to replicate the carvings by using other rocks in the area. This didn't work. My conclusion was that whoever had done it must have used iron implements. So who did these ? This area is very remote. The farmers didn't know the history of the area. I'm really intrigued. But I am also lazy. I haven't taken these photos to any archaeologists but if any stumble on this site I wouldn't mind knowing the answer. (I wish I had taken better photos.)
