My fields of research are Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics, Macro-Finance, Macro-Labor, Public Finance, and Environmental Macroeconomics. My research investigates optimal conventional and unconventional monetary policy, fiscal policy in isolation, and the interactions between them in different macroeconomic environments, including frictional labor markets and frictional financial markets. It explicitly studies the dynamics of the labor market, both empirically and theoretically.
I also investigate how environmental and climate processes and policies interact with fiscal and monetary policies and affect macroeconomic aggregates.
