As we seek solutions to the immense socio-environmental challenges we face today, we need diverse, creative, and well-prepared leaders that are empowered to make informed decisions about our collective futures. However, people of color, indigenous communities, women, and many others have consistently been marginalized in environmental and sustainability science and education. This lab is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all and helping to create more pathways for marginalized groups in the sciences. We value and treasure the diverse perspectives we each can bring to our work and seek students and collaborators that want to help make a better future for us all.
