Dr Mofi Islam is a senior lecturer at the department of Public Health, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia.

Before joining La Trobe Mofi was a lecturer/Research Fellow of the Australian Primary Health Care Research Institute in the Research School of Population Health, Australian National University, Canberra.

Dr Islam's primary research interest is the public health aspects of vulnerable people in society.
