"Before taking a sip from the bucket of knowledge, you need to fill the bucket.
To fill the bucket you need to fetch the water.
To fetch the water you need to find the droplets.
To find the droplets you need to find the patience to fill the bucket." - John Kidikian
Hello Esteemed Visitor,
Welcome to RDDM's Knowledge Management Center and Literature Research Corner.
Just below you'll find various sets of literature research modules with respect to gas turbine design and analysis. These modules have been used as course notes for university bachelor and masters level curriculum on aviation gas turbines, and is the backbone that supports the research and development of MDIDS-GT, the Multi-Disciplinary Integrated Design System for Gas Turbines.
The philosophy behind these modules is an attempt to tell a coherent story. By combining various sources into one, we would like to tell a rich, and if possible, complete story behind this exciting and interesting engineering domain. We have also added links to videos which enrichen the modules through the perspective of another medium.
These modules are revised and updated on a yearly basis. So feel free to come back once and awhile to see what new literature has been added and what has been updated.
Sincerely
Dr. John,
