Simple DHCP Query is a free Android-app for reading out the information received from a DHCP server for the current WLAN connection, e.g. IP address of gateway, DNS-servers, own IP address & network mask. This information can be saved by the app for later reference.
Once a DHCP record is received the app can be used to open the homepage of the current WLAN's gateway server; this page is very often the login page you have to visit before you can use WLAN in a restaurant or hotel.
Further screenshots can be found on this page; there is also a Prezi Presentation which visualizes the navigation between the screens of the app.
Minimum version of Android needed by the app is 2.2.x (Froyo, API-Level 8).
