Research Interest
5G, How far have we come? The future of next generation mobile communications
With 5G rising as the future of next generation mobile communications, competition to develop 5G technology is fierce. New technologies and future visions of 5G have been unveiled at the World IT Show (WIS) 2014 held in Busan during the period of ITU Plenipotentiary Conference. For the first time in the world, 5G technology has been successfully demonstrated in an open space, or a moving environment. There were also various opportunities to experience in advance the future life enabled by 5G. We will take a look at the future mobile communications technologies now moving forward to 5G after 4G.
