Dual Enrollment Requirments and Steps
Important Dates for Enrollment and Registration
Required Passing Scores for Dual Enrollment.
Be aware that requirements for graduation with an A.A are constanly changing, based on the major.
Students who complete the required courses under Dual Enrollment are eligible to graduate with an A.A before the date of their High School Graduation. All credits obtained will count differently to other universities after High School. Students are able to take all classes at The College of Central Florida (CF). This will replace the need to meet requirements at FHS. Course credits will transfer to FHS. Students who take a Full (60 Credit Hours) over the duration of their Dual Enrollment time are able to graduate from CF in addition to FHS. Please note that all courses must meet the requirements of both CF and FHS in order to graduation from both institutions. Also, note that a foreign language is required to graduate from CF. This requirement can be filled if courses are obtained at the High School level before the Spring Semester of 12th Grade. Also note that American Government, Economics equivalency and Course, and American History.
Students are allowed to take:
Summer Prior to 11th Grade:
The Summer prior to 11th-grade students are only allowed to take a maximum of 2 Courses (6 Credit Hours) in Summer B on-campus.
Fall 11th Grade:
3 Courses (9 Credit Hours Total)
Spring 11th Grade:
3 Courses (9 Credit Hours Total)
Summer Prior to 12th Grade:
3 Courses in Summer (9 Credit Hours Total); however, a maximum of 2 courses can be taken per mini-semester. This is during Summer prior to 12th grade.
For example:
Fall 12th Grade:
Students are able to take up to (16 Credit Hours) this semester. (16 Credit Hours) equals about 5 Courses depending on courses taken.
Spring 12th Grade:
Students are able to take up to (16 Credit Hours) this semester. (16 Credit Hours) equals about 5 Courses depending on courses taken.

This plan will total in 63 Credits. The additional 3 credits are from the Business Cal course. This is required in order to transfer as a Business student to most universities.
