The Slavin Chapel of Ease is part of the Parish of Inishmacsaint Lower Lough Erne, Church of Ireland. It is located near Roscor and Belleek in the Western part of Co. Fermanagh.
This graveyard began about 1800 in its present location. There is an earlier graveyard called Old Slavin, located a half-mile southeast, but no McBriens were buried there. That graveyard was Roman Catholic with graves from 1713 thru 1889. It should be noted that the spelling of Slavin was also seen as Slawin.

Here is the Plot of Slavin Graveyard:
Here is the tomb of Denis McBrien (below) which was opened in 1982 for Charlie McBrien's internment. This is the only large tomb at Slavin Church. There was no inscription visible. But the Callagheen-Carigollah McBriens seemed to be more afluent during the 1800-1960 time period
