The Mazda MX5 is the world's most popular sports car, having sold in the millions since it was first released in 1990.
The Gleneagles special edition is a cultured and smart upgrade to the brilliant basic design.
As well as looking wonderful, the Mazda MX5 Gleneagles is an amazing driving experience. It is quick to accelerate and, when the sun is up and the hood is down, there is nothing more exciting than going for a joyride in this modern classic.
The Mazda MX5 has gained many awards and rave reviews along the way.

"fantastic little basic front engined rear wheel drive roadster without unneccessary frills to distract from the thrills you get from the sweet handling and decent chassis"

"The MX-5 is a comfortable place to sit and you can really feel the car enclosed around you. The cabin is split in two by a thick transmission tunnel that runs down the centre but even larger drivers should find that theres ample room and the tunnel provides a handy spot to rest an elbow while cruising. The real fun starts when you fire up the engine and point the MX-5 down a twisty back road. Here the car is in its element with its sharp responses and poise in the corners."

Mazda launched the Gleneagles special edition range in 1995.
The Gleneagles was based on the 1.8i MX5, and came with Power Steering & Immobiliser. The Montego Blue metallic exterior was complemented by the Champagne, soft leather, interior. Reinforcement of the Gleneagles detailing was further enhanced by the tartan gearlever gaiter and the eagle emblem on the steering wheel centre.
Mazda only produced 400 versions of this special edition.
