Max Fréjus O. SANYA (Cover Letter)is currently researcher (Maitre-Assistant CAMES reference of Assistant Professor) at IT-Department (GIT) of Ecole Polytechnique d'Abomey-Calavi (EPAC) at Abomey-Calavi University (UAC) in Benin.
He received his PhD degree from University of Limoges in Xlim UMR CNRS 7252 (C2S2-Xlim). His PhD is a collaboration between University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC in Benin, West of Africa) and University of Limoges (France). Hence, he is PhD titular of these two universities.
He obtained the Master of Research on Information and Communication Technologies (GIT) of the Ecole Doctorale Science pour l'Ingénieur of the EPAC/UAC in 2010 after a Master internship at ENSIL of University of Limoges, France. He obtained his MSc Signal Processing Engineering degree from the Electrical Engineering Department of EPAC-UAC in 2008. He was awarded with the Region Limousin grant from the French Regional Council of Limousin for Thesis supports in December 2012. He was awarded with the three times short stay grant for Doctoral research of the French Government at C2S2 Department of Xlim in University of Limoges.
He joined the C2S2 team of Xlim lab in September 2010. He has participated in several french projects (e.g., ANR EPOD France, LAMPION) as member team in Xlim UMR CNRS 7252. His research interests include LiFi, VLC, OWC, Broadband Network, Next Generation mobile network, optical fiber deployment, signal processing and advanced modulation formats for optical and wireless communications systems, specifically Digital architectures for high data rate PON fiber link, low-complexity, optical power efficient OFDM techniques for low-cost context, Cosimulation with VPI Photonics and Matlab, Optisystem, Fttx and Hybrid RF/Optical Next-Generation transmission links.
Since 2016, he was active member of research group unit of RadioFrequency and Transmission (UR-RFT) at LETIA Lab of ED-DSI/ University of Abomey-Calavi. Recently, based collaborative works with colleagues of Brazil, he is also Member of the UNILAB Research Group : Grupo de Pesquisa em Sistemas de Comunicações Tecnológicos de Geração Futura (GPSCTGF).
