One of the best things Marie Curie fellowship is that it allows you to travel different countries and places in Europe and meet other people. Though it was mostly grey in Aalborg, meeting all the ESRs, researchers and ITN WindMill's management team for the first time was great. We had a great time with all ESRs - we got along with each other well. Aalborg is tiny but beautiful especially around Christmas time. I also had to face some unfortunate situation where I was subject to racism but it didn't let it ruin my time with all the good people there.
