Maulik Dye Chem Ind-JK-Silicone -SE 2153 is a copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane and polyoxyalkaylene ether.JK-Silicone-SE 2153 Dimethicone Copolyol imparts lubricity and softness to personal care formulations. Due to its water solubility it can be used to formulate clear products. When used in shampoo formulations it exhibits profoaming qualities helping to stabilise foam levels. There are a wide range of products that can be enhanced by the addition of JK-Silicone-SE 2153 Dimethicone Copolyol such as Shampoos, Hair sprays, Hand lotions, Antiperspirants, Mousses, Shaving aids and Conditioners.This silicone copolyol can also be used successfully as an anti-misting agent in window cleaning products.

- Exhibits surfactant-like qualities

- Acts as a hydrator and detackifier

Typical Properties

- Viscosity: 200 - 650cS
- Specific gravity: 1.07 at 25C
- Appearance: Clear to hazy straw liquid
