Micro Tutorial:

I was selected to be a contributor in Professor Jacob Greenstein's Microtutorial project that was funded through the University of California Office of the President's Innovative Learning Technology Initiative. The microtutorials are a collection of videos of problems and mini lectures that pair with the finite mathematics course at Univeristy of California, Riverside. The problems highlight common misconceptions that occur in the course while the mini lectures help reduce class time spent on theoretical explanations, such as why induction works. Below are two sample videos of problems that were filmed with Lawrence Mouille with the permission of Jacob Greenstein.

Chicagoland IBL Community (ChIBL):

Together with Sarah Bockting-Conrad, Aliza Steurer, Beth DeWitt, Lance Vobornik, and David Falling we are starting a community in Chicagoland focused on Inquiry Based Learning (IBL). Currently we are organizing a breakout session at the Chicago Symposium Series, the Illinois Sectional Meeting of the MAA, and a one day workshop for Fall 2020.
