Teaching

Undergraduate

I currently teach core microeconomics (in English, syllabus here) to 1st year undergraduates. My textbook of choice is Varian's Intermediate Micro.

I previously (academic year 2009-10) taught core macro (in Italian) to 2nd year undergraduates, using the Mankiw's (and Taylor's) Macroeconomics (European Edition).

In academic year 2008-09 I taught an introductory "Applied Economics" (i.e. hands on OLS econometrics) course to some 300 first-year undergraduates at University College London.

Although I have experience in all fields, my preferred undergradauate teaching is one of the straight economics (macro or micro, probably in that order of preference) courses.

Graduate

In academic years 2010-11 and 2011-12 I taught an advanced optional graduate course on "Topics in the Economics of Ageing and Pension Provision" in Bologna's english language economics masters program.

In academic year 2011-12 I also taught a optional course for Bologna's Phd students on "Lifecycle Models: Reduced Form Versus Structural Approaches".
