Hello, I am Matthew Wakefield, welcome to my webpage.

I am currently Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna.

Before arriving in Italy I was an economist at The Institute for Fiscal Studies in London, and a PhD student in economics at University College London.
