I am an Assistant Research Professor with the Lucy Family Institute for Data and Society at the University of Notre Dame.  I was previously a Data Scientist with the Lucy Institute, as well as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, also at Notre Dame.  I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at Florida State University.

I study civil and international conflict. I focus on how third-parties affect the onset and termination of armed violence, as well as post-war political reform. In addition, I explore the role of domestic political institutions in crisis bargaining and negotiations.

My research has been published or accepted at Journal of Politics, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Peace Research, Research & Politics, Civil Wars, and P.S.: Political Science & Politics.
