I am a Professor of Economics at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA) and a researcher at TREE. My research in development economics focuses on firms and their networks, at an intersection with public policy interventions and state institutions (courts, tax authority, customs), and, recently, firms' role in the energy and environmental transition.

My work combines various empirical methods - design and implementation of RCTs, non-experimental approaches, network analysis - with strong experience in generating and working with a broad range of data sources, from original field surveys to large administrative datasets.

I have worked for the Development Impact Evaluation Initiative (DIME) at the World Bank in Washington, DC, and consult for the World Bank, the European Commission and the International Trade Center on impact evaluation research. I did my PhD at the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and am a CSEF fellow.
