Mrs. Freitas' Instructional Videos

All "Essential Learning Targets" for IM 3 and AP Calculus are explained with notes and example problems (by Mrs. Freitas) in a series of instructional videos called "ELT Videos." These videos are assigned about once a month on EdPuzzle, where students are expected to follow along and take notes in their math notes notebooks. Mrs. Freitas has also linked them all on her Google Classroom under the "Seeking Support" Section.

CPM Homework Help

The link provided at left will take you to CPM Homework help which provides Homework help & hints for all CPM courses (IM 1, 2, 3, Pre-Calc, AP Calc), *Strongly Recommended* The tutorial video at right will show you how to use homework help.

Khan Academy

Khan Academy is an educational resource with helpful videos & modules where students can learn more about and get extra practice with various topics. The link at left will take you there!

Desmos

The link provided at right will take you to Desmos, an online graphing calculator. Desmos also has interactive activities.

FREE TUTORING Via DHS Learning Center

The learning center, with qualified tutors, is open before and after school. Their hours are 7:30-8:30am and 2-4pm (except on Wednesdays the PM hours are 1-3)

FREE TUTORING Via Solano County Library

Students who attend DUSD schools have access to free virtual tutoring (ask for help if you need directions for logging in). The link provided at left will take you to the Homework Help with Solano County Library.

Study Groups & Classmates

Don't forget to seek support from all the experts around you! You are surrounded by so much expertise! Forming study groups with classmates is a great resource!

Growth Mindsets in Math

What is a Growth Mindset?

Studies have shown that students with a growth mindset achieve higher in mathematics. Authors and researchers Carol Dweck and Jo Boaler have a lot of resources with even more information about this! But the video linked at right is a great start for gathering information.
