I am a Profesor por tiempo determinado (roughly, tenure track assitant professor) at the Departament of Mathematics of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City. Moreover, I am member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores, level one (SNII 1), since January 2025.
Before I was a Junior Research at the Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra group (ACGA) of the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas A.C. (2022-2025), a CONACYT posdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Matemáticas of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2021-2022), a FONDECYT postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Matemáticas of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (2019-2021), and a visiting professor at the Departamento de Ciencias Básicas of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Unidad Azcapotzalco (2018-2019).
I have completed my PhD in mathematics in 2017 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in collaboration with the Universitat de Barcelona under the guidance of prof. Luis Dieulefait and prof. Timothy M. Gendron.
My main research interests focus on the inverse Galois problem and include different aspects of Langlands program, finite groups, class field theory and quaternion algebras.
