Antonio Mastrogiorgio is a scholar in organization science. He is currently assistant Professor, with the italian qualificaiton of Associate Professor at the Univeristy of Rome "Unitelma Sapienza".
He has been the Editorial Director of the Neuroscience Lab (NS LAB) at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. He has conducted research activities in several Italian univeristites including the University of Bologna, LUISS Guido Carli, University of l'Aquila and University of Chieti-Pescara. He has been involved in academic teaching, as Adjunct Professor, at the John Cabot Univeristy. He was Visiting Scholar at the Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and at the KLI (Austria). He holds a PhD from the University of Bologna (Italy).
Following Herbert A. Simon pioneering research on managerial decision-making and organizational behavior based on bounded rationality, the studies conducted by Antonio Mastrogiorgio find their place in that academic domain, which investigates the biological and evolutionary foundations of human decision-making, using modern behavioral, psychological and neuro-cognitive paradigms.
