I saw one of these randomly on Google, and I just HAD to make one of my own. It was just too awesome, I mean I have all the skills to make it and wanted to see how far I could push it without interfering with the ability to scan it still! As you can see, it still works extremely well (try it on a smart phone). In case you're wondering, I created the QR code at www.qrstuff.com then using GIMP I aligned the black tiles to a 6x6 pixel grid, then expanded that to a 16x16 grid and started pasting LoZ graphics directly over it. As long as each tile is dark enough, the scanner will consider it a pixel. Many of the enemy/monster tiles and Link himself are bright enough that they're ignored entirely. To hide them even more, place them at half-way centers or on corners of 4 tiles.
