MAssJAS 2026 Fall Symposium

The 2026 Massachusetts Junior Academy of Science (MAssJAS) Fall Symposium will be held on October of 2026, at the MIT campus, in Cambridge, MA.  Registration and location will be released early September.

There will be two concurrent sessions:

Session I: Life Sciences:  Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry

Session II: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics & Physics

The presentations will be evaluated by a panel of 3 judges for scientific merit, experimental design, clarity of presentation, data quality and interpretation, visuals, creativity, originality, and ability to answer questions. The top-ranked presenters will have the opportunity to represent the MAss Junior Academy of Science at the annual American Junior Academy of Sciences (AJAS) convention in Phoenix, AZ on February 11-14, 2026, and to present their research at the 2026 American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting which takes place concurrently in partnership with AJAS.
