Net Metering Facility with Net Export for the Month

The following example shows how the net metering credits would apply to the electric bill of a sample residential customer, assuming that the customer uses 600 kilowatt-hours in the month and generates 1200 kilowatt-hours in the month, so that all of the customer's use is offset by onsite generation and there is 600 kilowatt-hours net excess generation for the month. NOTE: The result is that the customer gets a credit on their bill which can be applied to future bills or "assigned" to other customer accounts in the same service territory and Load Zone.
