Application Process Time

This chart helps you answer the question "How long does the interconnection application process take for a project like mine?" Please note that this chart shows only the amount of time from the date when an interconnection application was deemed complete to the date the interconnection agreement was sent. The other phases are not depicted in this chart.

How to use this chart

Modify the chart so it shows projects similar to yours. Click the check boxes in the right sidebar to select fuel type, approval process being used (Expedited or Standard), and whether system modification was required.

Use the Design Capacity slider in the right column to modify the design capacity of the projects you see. Use the date range slider at the bottom of the right column to choose the the date range within which the interconnection agreement was sent. To use the sliders:

• Click on the left and right sliders and move them along the bar to set the upper and lower limits... OR...

• Click on the numbers just above the far left and far right of the bar and type in the upper and lower limits you would like to see

To export the chart, click the export icon

in the toolbar at the top/center and choose:

• Image: Exports an image of the chart as a .png image file

• Data: Opens a new window where you can view the data used to create the chart. The Summary tab shows only the specific data points use to build the chart. The Underlying tab shows all columns associated with each row of data used to build the chart. Click "download all rows as a text file" to download a .csv file containing the data you see, which can be opened in Excel.

• Crosstab: Downloads a .csv file of the data points used to create the chart, which can be opened in Excel

• PDF: Exports an image of the chart as a PDF file
