Hi all MASH friends,It appears the best weekend for the MASH club float is June 28-30, with actual float on Saturday 6/29, at Dawt Mill resort on the beautiful North Fork of the White River. The general plan is for those that want to come on Friday, plan to arrive by 5-6 pm, but earlier is fine. Come to my house and I will grill some burgers and brats on the patio. Bring a side, snack, or desert, and of course some home brew or other good liquid refreshment. We will try to get on the 10 am shuttle from Dawt Mill Saturday morning. Those that want to arrive Saturday please arrive by 9 am and be at Dawt Mill to register and sign the waivers by 9:30 am. Saturday evening I will have one or more big tables reserved at Hearthside Restaurant at Dawt Mill for a nice dinner overlooking the river. Saturday and Sunday morning we will have some kind of breakfast offering at our house. The guest house also has a full kitchen for some to have breakfast. We can accommodate 6 in the guest house bedrooms (2 queens and 2 singles in the 3 bedrooms) maybe 1-2 more on an inflatable mattress. Only charge for that will be the $125 cleaning fee to be divided by those in the guest house. We only have 1 guest bedroom in the main house that Steve and Joanne will stay in again. Other accommodations close by are at Dawt Mill Resort and Rocky Top Cabins and Campground, Tecumseh, MO. Both have nice cabins at various prices. Camping in RV or tents is welcome on our property, but I only have a water and electric hookup up at the guest house. Next door has some hookups for trailer or RV that I think will be available.Floating craft available at Dawt Mill and prices are:Canoe (2 persons) $49.23 plus taxKayak (1 person) $44.75 plus taxRaft (4 persons) $138.73 plus taxCooler tube (no cooler) $17.90 plus tax Contact Dawt Mill at 417-284-3540 for lodging availability and pricing.Contact Rocky Top at 417-679-0149 for lodging availability and pricing. Both have a website where that information is available also. They will not shuttle private watercraft unless you are staying with them. And then the price is just a little less than renting theirs. Please let me know who is coming and what type of floating craft you want. Those wanting rafts figure out who will be floating in them. I will make reservations based on what you tell me so that we can all get on the same shuttle. Then after I do that, you will each need to call Dawt Mill and confirm with payment information. I will forward travel directions later. Looking forward to a fun time.RandyTopic: Yeast washing and harvesting
