APENS Exam

The National Consortium for Physical Education for Individuals with Disabilities (NCPEID) (www.ncpeid.org) developed the Adapted Physical Education National Standards (APENS) (www.apens.org) and Exam.

Recertification: http://www.apens.org/recertification.html

The certification is good for 7 years. The website indicates that you need 10 years for recertification. This is not true, you may received recertification prior to your 10th year. Do not wait and let your certification lapse.
