Dear Brookstone Homeowner,
Please make note of the following reminders from your HOA Board.
· 2017 HOA Dues letters will be mailed out in December. Please be sure to send in your HOA dues by January 31st, 2017.
· VOTE - Your community members have brought up three separate issues that the HOA has prepared for a vote in order to amend parts of Section 8.1 Article VIII in the Declaration. A voting ballot will be sent out with the 2017 Due letters. Each community household must vote and mail their ballot back in with their 2017 dues. Up for vote will be minor wording changes to the sections of pools, fences, and mailboxes.
· LAMP POST- With the falling back in time, it is now getting darker early on in the evening. This is a reminder to please ensure that your light posts are working and are lit from sundown to sunup.
o Section 8.1.1 A21 - An outside electric eye pole light must be installed in each Unit prior to the completion of the dwelling unit and must be maintained thereafter. The pole light must be lighted at all times, from sundown to sunup; it must be regulated by an automatic day and night switch or photocell, and it must have at least a (100) watt bulb. The Pole light shall be wired directly to the electric panel box and shall not have an in-line switch. Not spotlighting is permitted to be on or continuous or on motion sensor which direct lighting into adjacent properties.
· GARBAGE - Please also ensure that with garbage storage that only the garbage receptacles are visible on the side of your house. Please do not keep wood, clutter, or other large objects that you are collecting to throw away on the side of your house. If you are going to have garbage outside it must be in the receptacle with the top closed. This goes a long way with people in the community. Thank you for understanding.
o Section 8.1.1 A8 - All trash, garbage and refuse shall be stored in covered metal or plastic receptacles. Trash may be visible only on the day or night before the day or trash pickup by the municipality.
Thank you,
Brookstone HOA Board.
