New (29 Oct 2017) I have 26 more completed and tested boards. I am invoicing and shipping using Paypal. See the status in the spreadsheet below.
Four boards do not meet my frequency stability criteria, and I won't ship them until I resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I found some shorts on a few of the PC boards that caused other issues and required some rework. I do not know if the stability issue is related to the PC boards or some other cause. Changing trimpots did not affect the issue. I have some personal obligations and these 26 boards are the only ones likely to be ready by the end of October. I hope to finish the rest by the end of the year. I apologize for the delay, but I want to make sure they are good before shipping.
New (20 Sep 2017) A total of 50 boards have been built and 20 delivered or are on the way. The TCXOs settle in frequency some time after soldering, so I will test starting the week of 25 September 2017 to give them time. I will then send invoices and ship additional boards. I will also build 20 more boards that I have parts for. Hopefully I will have a total of 70 built and shipped by the end of October. After those 70, I will need more than 35 additional requests to build another batch. See the Current Order Status below for the amount toward the next batch.
New (7 Sep 2017) Scope received and 10 units have been tested. I have sent invoices and started to ship. Continuing to build and test more.
New (28 Aug 2017) My scope is still our for warranty repairs, continuing to build more this week.
New (8 Aug 2017): I have started building again. 10 more have been built so far. My scope is out for warranty repairs, so I will continue to build in the next few weeks and test when the scope comes back. They are looking pretty good, L1 is still rotating on the pads on some, but that does not impact performance.
I have all the parts for the next 60 units. There are more than 60 total requests now. I appreciate the interest. There are reviews on eham also. I expect some will decline to purchase due to the delay, so hopefully I will be able to provide them to all that still want them.
So, if you are interested, they are first come, first served, based on the timestamps when filling out the form below. Right now, I can't assure I will be able to meet all the requests from the next batch. If there is a third batch, I will have to wait until I get enough orders to make another parts buy.
Price will be about $49 plus shipping and PayPal fees, depending on volume and if I have to pay a contract manufacturer. So far it has been about $52 to the US and $63 to the UK, with possible VAT charged on delivery for international sales. I won't ask for money until ready to ship, so you will know exactly how much then.
Adjustment instructions below, but for production units I have set them to within 0.5 Hz before shipment, so adjustment should not be needed.
