Research

My current research direction focuses on next generation server architecture, particularly the opportunities arising from the trend towards tightly integrated network interfaces. Such designs, previously considered for rack-scale supercomputers, can boast sub-microsecond latencies and are forecasted to scale to Tbps of bandwidth. Therefore, intelligent hardware-software co-design has the potential to revolutionize tomorrow's datacentre-scale applications, characterized by stringent QoS targets.
