Brianna's Bowl
Brianna’s bowl,
Made by Marion le Red assisted by Nickoli Ivanovich.
Brianna’s bowl is a red bell shaped bowl with a white lip wrap and solid white cookie foot. It was based on a the bowl pictured from 400-500 egypt which is a bell shaped bowl with a kick and bowl foot.
In making Brianna’s bowl the bottom of the bow was thiner than I wanted to we decided to add a solid cookie foot instead of a blown foot to make is a more durable piece. The bowl is taller than the original and the original has a larger lip wrap.
This bowl was made with the idea that Brianna who loves to cook will use it to serve in her home as she has opened her home to many that are local to her and has fed them well.
