Homework developed by undergraduates students (mechanical engineering) at Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia. Problem set up as presented in paper of Brooks and Hughes (1982). Solved using Altair Acusolve. Class: Finite element analysis for solids and fluids.

Six bar linkage

Final project for Dynamics of Machinery class. Developed by undergraduates students (Mechanical Engineering) at Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia. This video shows a six bar linkages used to lift and drop off a bucket. The students designed the size of the linkages to follow the prescribed path of the coupler curve. Also, they calculated dynamics forces and moments

Dynamics (Solution Problem Video)

This video shows an example of how my students of dynamics (second year students of mechanical engineering) present their homeworks. This corresponds to the solution of modified problem 14-71 of the textbook Dynamics (Hibbeler). In class, students solved the problem using energy methods and in the video, they explained how to solve the same problem using directly the second law of motion.
