I am currently teaching Russian language at the Department of Foreign Languages and Russian literature at Cummings Center for Russian and East European Studies in Tel Aviv University.

I am involved in several projects which explore the acculturation of Russian immigrants in Israel.

I graduated in 1986 from the Faculty of Philology of the Moscow State University, and received my doctoral degree in 1999. The title of dissertation is “Teaching Russian to Hebrew speakers”.

In 2001 I completed my post doctorate research “Acculturation of Russian adolescents in Israel” in Bar-Ilan University (adviser - professor B.Spolsky).
