About me

Marija Mikic is a Vice President of Software Engineering in the Autonomous Vehicle organization  of General Motors. Her teams build best in class AV and AI software platforms to power autonomy.  Marija joined GM from Cruise where she was the lead for AI Foundations team. Prior to that, Marija spent 20 years at Google, as a Senior Engineering Director. She also served as a site lead for Google Los Angeles. She led teams working on Generative AI and emerging technologies. Previously, Marija was responsible for YouTube ads quality, targeting, bidding, ML and data science teams. 

She received her Ph.D. in 2004 from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Southern California.
