Marie adapts to change well

Education is always in state of change, and Marie adapts well. In fact, she embraces challenges with grit and determination. Our school district has been in a rather unique state regarding the bilingual program. Four different coordinators within five years has resulted in various philosophies and structures. Marie was hired in Elmhurst 205 due to her depth of experience in bilingual education. She brought forth a high level of expertise and has continued to do what is best for students and their families in the midst of constant change. This leads to her trait that I admire the most. Marie is a visionary. Equity, diversity, bilingualism, and social justice are at the core of her beliefs and actions. This shows through in everything she does.
