If you are looking for a creative, supportive and extremely organized D205 School Board candidate, look no futher!
I have previous administrative experience in the field of higher education and 15+years of classroom experience in the City of Chicago and suburbs.
My fluent bilingual ability in Spanish has helped me develop excellent rapport with parents, community leaders, teachers and students.
Few candidates have the ability to:
design instructional programs
fundraise for projects
handle crisis and manage emergencies
evaluate work performance
design professional development
create long-term strategic plans or
foster a sense of community and respect
before taking on leadership in a district.
I am able to do all of these things from day one.
My Experience Shows:
After working in higher education administration at The Juilliard School of Music in New York City and at Northwestern University in Evanston, I married and began my family.
After completing the requirements to become a teacher in 2005, I also gained Bilingual Certification endorsement in 2012. More recently, I obtained a second master's degree from National Louis University in Educational Leadership in 2015.
While the majority of candidates for the school board have parenting and work experience, I have BOTH extensive teaching and administrative expertise to bring to the board.
