I am a professor for Quantitative Methods in Economics at Mercator School of Management (University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany).
Furthermore, I am a member of the DFG research training group Regional Disparities and Economic Policy and of the Ruhr Graduate School in Economics.
Currently, I also serve as the chairperson for the standing field committee in Population Economics.
