I am joining the faculty of The Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic in August of 2026.
I am a financial economist studying how corporate debt influences firm behavior, asset prices, and market dynamics, with a focus on over-the-counter (OTC) markets. My work combines theoretical modeling with empirical insights to examine how firms manage leverage, maturity, and liquidity, and how these decisions affect systemic risk and market efficiency.
My work has been published in the Review of Asset Pricing Studies, The Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Corporate Finance Studies and The Management Science.
I earned a PhD in Finance from the Tepper Business School at the Carnegie Mellon University. I also hold a BSc degree in Economics (first class honors) from the University of London.
