I am currently working as Economist and Data analyst in the Directorate General for Consumer Protection and Financial Education.
Since 2023 I am member of the Data Mining Panel supporting the Financial Education Committee, Ministry of Economics and Finance, Italy.
Here below my previous experiences:
From 2009/10 to 2012/11: Trieste branch of the Bank of Italy, focusing on the economy of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
From 2012/11 to 2022/01: Financial Accounts and Statistical Methods Division, focusing on General Government Statistics.
I graduated in Political Economy at the Università degli Studi G. d’Annunzio in 2002. Thesis Supervisor: Prof. Carmen Pagliari
Afterwards I studied at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, where I obtained a PhD in Economics in 2007 (Thesis Supervisor: Prof. Alessandro Sterlacchini)
I also studied at the Université Catholique de Louvain, where I received a Master of Arts in Economics and a PhD in Economics, respectively in 2005 and 2012. (Thesis Supervisors: Prof. Paul Belleflamme and Prof. Vincent Vannetelbosch)
