This recording is of various sound effects, with periods of silence in between. It can be used as a meditation tool in various ways. With eyes closed one can observe the experiences triggered by hearing the sounds: thoughts (either mental "talk" and/or "image"), or the emotional sensations in the body ("feel"). Alternately, one can focus directly on the sounds themselves, noticing them purely as sound (pitch, volume, texture) and disregarding the content of the sound (e.g. "a dog barking"). There are other possible ways to use this, but these are some preliminary suggestions.
