Environmental mineralogy and biogeochemistry, low-temperature geochemistry, geochemical modeling, Acid Mine Drainage, water-rock interaction, geothermal waters, (bio)mineralization, carbonates
My research interests lie at the intersection of geochemistry and mineralogy. Through my research, I seek to understand how coupled chemical, biological, and physical processes govern the chemistry of the water and sediments and the fate of chemicals in the environment (e.g., contaminants).
