***UPDATE*** Starting in 2023, Manuel Farm will not be taking new boarders. We will continue hosting clinics and lessons; the arena will be available for use for outside horses. We are also open to short-term layups and other special circumstances.
There are farriers that work with the farm-owned horses. The farm arranges these appointments; the dates for farrier appointments are written on the board by the grooming areas. Boarders are welcome to make use of the appointment dates as needed with notice. If you can not make the appointment but need your horse done, please feel free to make your own arrangements: you are welcome to bring in your own vet, farrier, instructor, etc. Please pre-arrange with us; we like to know who is here!
We encourage our boarders to be 'hands on' with the care of their horses; owner must be present for veterinary and dental appointments.
We take pasture boarding to a whole new level! Horses are checked on and handled throughout the day.
Large pastures with mixed grasses, shade, salt, water and shelter provide our horses with the room to "just be horses."
Plenty of prime Bermuda hay is fed in the winter and is included in the board fee.
CountryView Animal Care veterinary services is minutes down the road for convenient hauling and emergency farm visits. In March, a farm call is scheduled to draw blood for Coggins, give vaccinations, etc. An equine dentist visits for dental checkups yearly and an equine chiropractor is available on a monthly basis. You are welcome to bring in your own professionals as well.
Board is $375/month and is due the 1st of each month.
Boarders are responsible for providing their own feed and supplements.
