To sign your athlete up for a sport send an email to amparno@yahoo.com with the following information:
Athlete's Name
Parent's Name
Athlete's age and date of birth
Athlete's school and current grade level
Sport athlete is interested in
Does your athlete have a current medical on file with us?
Please write: All Stars Athlete Registration in the subject line.
To compete in Special Olympics, a person must be at least eight years old. Children at the age of six may begin a training program, but are not able to compete until the age of eight. A person must also be identified by an agency or professional as having one of the following:
Intellectual Disabilities
Closely related development disability, which means having functional limitations in both general learning and in adaptive skills such as recreation, work, independent living, self direction, or self care.
Additional athlete qualifications:
A great attitude and smile
Currently enrolled and in good standing with Mansfield ISD
A current Special Olympics physical on file with the MISD Delegation completed by September 1st. (One physical is good for all sports and needs to be renewed every three years.)
