Reverse Notification for Android

How it works

You will receive an email whenever an incoming call occurs or an incoming sms receives. In the

case of an incoming call the Email includes the phonenumber of the caller and if the incoming number

can be found at your contacts, the name is also displayed.

In the case of an incoming sms the Email includes the full text and also the sender´s number and if available

in your contacts also the name.

To go sure that your contact´s name will be in the Email, please look that the number saved for this contact

is the same like it is displayed when an incoming call occurs. For example +43676123213 but if in your contact is

0676123213 then the name will not appear! That means you have to insert the country and provider code at your

contact´s number.

Where to get it

Simply visit the android market with your G1 and search for "Reverse Notification" or look under "Applications"-->"Communication"

Lite Version

The light version is limited to send only 3 notifications per incoming sms and call.

Also the program runs only until 05/2009. Full version is coming soon!

Manual

First started the main screen appears. Here you enter following data:

• • To: the receiver(s) of the notification

  • Cc: the receiver(s) of a copy

  • Bcc: the receiver(s) of a blind copy

  • GMail Username: your GMail address

  • Password: Your GMail-Account password

  • save: Saves password when leaving main screen for next start

  • Show Icon: Shows the icon in the taskbar when running

  • Autostart: Starts Service automatically after phone starts

Please note that more email-addresses must be separated by ","

Once you inserted all necessary data you can click the button "Start Service", after this following screen will appear:

Now RN is checking, if it can access your GMail Account

In the case of a failure follwing message will appear:

Then check your entered data and try it again!

If all data is correct, you should get followind message

Now the service is running and you can leave the application!

If you selected "Show icon" you will see the icon on the taskbar like following

If you pull down the taskbar you see an entry of the application

You can click on the entry to get into the applications main-screen

If you want to stop the Reverse Notification, please click the button "Stop Service"

If you don´t stop the Service and enter a different "To:" Emailaddress then a second Service is started

and you will receive the notification also on this address. You better should enter 2 addresses in "To"

and don´t start the service twice! But have you done this, then "Stop Service" will stop all services!
