I have worked with various academic and policy institutions. These include Botswana Institute for Development Policy Analysis as a senior research fellow and head of trade, industry, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Lesotho) as head of research and statistics unit, the Southern African Labour and Development Research Unit (University of Cape Town) as a research fellow and the National University of Lesotho as a senior lecturer. I have also conducted commissioned research for the various Government Ministries and international organizations, for which she has produced policy and technical documents and reports. These include among others, the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Commission for Africa (UNECA), International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and Agricultural Organisation (FAO), Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, African Development Bank (AfDB), Health Economics and HIV/AIDS Research Division (HEARD) and IDRC Canada. I gained both local and regional experience of conducting economic research in various countries including Lesotho, South African, Botswana, Eswatini, Namibia and Cote D’ivoire.
